it is not a video, only two images:

one saying what good is lubuntu ( which certainly is)

one of a clean ubuntu desktop for more than two minutes


I don't think this is the best way to promote lubuntu, is it a joke?. No funny

While I don't ever agree with statements that pronounce anything best ever.
And I agree the video seems nonsensical.

I will say lubunu is a very nice and functional desktop distro.
One worth recommending to those with less than stellar/modern PCs.

Yeah, me too. I got lost about 2/3rds of the way through, but then I'm not the brightest bulb on the chandelier.

Even on a newer system I'd still use Lubuntu for it's simplicity and ease of use for beginners and Windows converts... Remember to install hplip if you have an HP printer though, it's minimal so this has been omitted from the install cd...

Yes!...That Shows! if You Don't Understand the Meaning of the Video (That Simple things Work Best!) and Large Complicated Desktops Don't Equal Best Desktops! then We can't Help You any more!

Lubuntu is a decent distro, but I still prefer Xubuntu. For me it has more features and is easier to configure, while still being really fast.

Must say however that the marketing behind Lubuntu is spot on - won't convince me though - :)

It's my prefered desktop environment.

This has to be the most awesome video i have seen in a long while totally intrigued me and made me laugh that much i went and downloaded it ,the lubuntu that is just to see what was behind the screen shot and wonderful ,talk about you cant tell a book by its cover ,although i love the screen shot it has class and elegance and a Distro to die for wonderful stuff best wishes Brian
