nautilus can not put directories in bookmarks

Running new 13.04 and no amount of Cntr-D or picking menu "bookmark this directory" will put it in the bookmarks section on the left hand sidebar. Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug?

Open the file you want add first and then use Ctrl + D or Bookmark this Location under the gear icon.

I find if I enter the folder I want to bookmark then bookmarking it, it works fine.
But selecting it(highlighting it) and trying to bookmark doesn't.

Thanks deadflowr, that seems to work! A bit illogical though, to have to enter inside a folder to bookmark that location!
