I have freshly installed Ubuntu 13.04 and have installed the fglrx-updates package for the video card driver. My problem is that every time I logout or reboot my overscan setting arent applied. I believe they are saves somewhere but simply not applied. The reasoning behind this is every time I log in (or reboot) I can simply go in to System Settings->displays and select a different resolution (any resolution) hit apply. On the confirm screen I select restore previous configuration and it will then apply my overscan settings. I must have tried everything: I tried step 5.2 from: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/ATI and all of the suddgestions here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/204127/catalyst-forgets-monitor-settings-after-reboot-or-log-out-in-12-10 I really am out of ideas. Anyone else have this problem?

OS=Ubuntu 13.04
Graphics Card: 7970
driver: Fglrx-updates
Everything should be up to date

Thanks,
Kevin
