Latest Firefox says I should upgrade after I have upgraded.

If I upgrade Firefox on Monday it tells me I am not on the latest Firefox on Tuesday. Am I upgraded or not ? Why is every explanation worse than the problem ?How can I ever spot a spelling mistake ? Many more questions where these come from ,too numerous to mention .:(
