Hi to all dear experts.
I'm new at this forum... so.. sorry for my english... i know is a little bit poor...
I need some idea..
I've a virtual installation of Ubuntu server 12.04.2 LTS on a VMWARE server..
root@jodomail:/# cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS \n \l
This server work as a server mail (postfix + dovecot + horde + postfixadmin) in a test environment... And works fine
Yesterday.. I rty to install samba server through apt-get
root@jodomail:/# apt-get install samba
and i receive the following error:
root@jodomail:/# apt-get install samba
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
linux-generic-pae : Depends: linux-image-generic-pae (= 3.2.0.41.49) but 3.2.0.43.51 is to be installed
Depends: linux-headers-generic-pae (= 3.2.0.41.49) but 3.2.0.43.51 is to be installed
samba : Depends: samba-common (= 2:3.6.3-2ubuntu2.6) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libwbclient0 (= 2:3.6.3-2ubuntu2.6) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libtalloc2 (>= 2.0.4~git20101213) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libtdb1 (>= 1.2.7+git20101214) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: update-inetd but it is not going to be installed
Depends: samba-common-bin but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: tdb-tools but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
I've got free space under /boot
root@jodomail:/# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
