Are serious dude?! Now a question; What happens if you just cut these wires/get rid of this little device... I have the same laptop. My trust in Dell has been dwindling for awhile now, this is adding to it all.

keyghosts disclaimer:

Using the KeyGhost to log/record other people's keystrokes or break into another persons computer without his/her knowledge can be considered as an illegal activity. It is the final user's responsibility to obey all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Our hardware is intended for authorized system administrators, employers, and/or owners of the computer. KeyGhost and partners, the device's creator, and it's employees assume no liability and are not responsible for any misuse or damage caused by our KeyGhost product.

and it also says that you must agree to the above before purchasing a keyghost device.

i would say putting these on dell computers without the owners knowlege is against the law in some form or another

It's so fun to watch people who suck at the internet.

*Internet truths to live by*

*Everything you read on the internet is true.
*There IS a spiritual entity who controls karma based on your e-mail activity. If you don't forward that e-mail to 50 of your friends in the next 5 minutes, you WILL have bad luck for 10 years.
*You really DO have some distant relative living in the middle east who died and left their fortune to you. All you have to do is e-mail his/her attourney your credit card information.
*All your base are belong to ME!

Hehe I like the post :) I'm usually pretty sceptical but when it comes to the government teaming up with companies to spy on me I believe it :) I know my tinfoil hat is on way too tight.

Anyways I apologize for wrong info and will report the thread to be closed/deleted w/e they do with those things. I can't find how to report the thread :( so if any forum staff see it please delete it so that false info doesn't keep getting spread.

I'm always tempted to crack open my laptop, well I've done it more than once. Aparently plastic casing isn't axe resistant :)

Considering that TPM chips are being installed in alot of new machines and most OS's (including Linux btw) do support it. There will be little need for hardware keyloggers TPM will enable snooping around your computer just as easily.

Sad truth. Ill just try to buy hardware without it for as long as I can.
