Shockwave not playing in Chrome browser

Ubuntu Version: 12.04 (Desktop)
Error:
Couldnot Load Shockwave Flash .
Browser: Chrome Version 26.04

Shockwave is installed.

i does not know about chrome, but with chromium (should be quite close i suppose) i've searched some times ago to resolve the same issue. And finally found the solution on their forum where they explain how to set flash (in fact its simply a path issue)

I suggest you remove your current chrome browser and install the latest chrome from google official repository. The latest google-chrome-stable has a built-in flash player.

You can follow the steps to install "google-chrome-stable", as detailed in http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/ppa/google_chrome.
