Gnome shell activity shows only first 8 letters of application names

Hello,

How can i extend names of applications to see full text, not only about 8 letters

Using Ubuntu 12.04, Gnome Shell, gnome3.2

as i'm not an icons fan (i prefer the list view) i will not help you to format the icon text (but i suppose it can be tweaked via the System Settings or dconf (from dconf-tools package); or maybe via unity-tweak-tool / ubuntu-tweak-tools
