LightDM login not necessary

I just came across this. When I get to the login window that requires my password, if I just do a "Ctrl+Alt+F7 it opens to my desktop. No password required. Has anyone else noticed this behavior?

I have more than one window manager installed, but if enter tty and use Ctrl + Alt +F7 I am returned to the login screen . Ctrl + Alt +F7 does nothing by it'sself.

Your right, it shouldn't do anything by itself, but it does. I can bypass my login (password) and go straight to my desktop. I removed other DMs and reinstalled lightdm, but still the same. This is my test-box so maybe its time for a reinstall. Not a big deal on this box, just wondered if anyone else could do this.

Are you running any startup scripts?

Maybe a reinstall is a good idea.

Nope, no scripts. I did a questionable install from a third party site the other day, it did not go well. Think your right, its reinstall time. I was mainly just curious if anyone else has notice this behavior. Going to mark this solved with a reinstall. Thanks for the replies :)
