Hi, I've been using 12.04 for almost a year on my system. I did an update today and my wireless usb mouse stopped working after I restarted. The odd thing is my wired usb mouse works (using it now), but not the wireless. lsusb lists the following:

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 006 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 007 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 05a9:2640 OmniVision Technologies, Inc. OV2640 Webcam
Bus 006 Device 004: ID 040b:2011 Weltrend Semiconductor
Bus 006 Device 003: ID 045e:0083 Microsoft Corp. Basic Optical Mouse

"Weltrend semiconductor" is the wireless usb mouse.

This is the history of the update:

Can anyone help me get my wireless mouse working again? Thanks!

maybe a kernel issue; have you check with an other one ?
maybe unplug/plug it can resolve that issue
