View Full Version : How to Get Panel Translucency on Kubuntu 13.04?

I upgraded to Kubuntu 13.04 a couple of days ago. I like almost every new tweak, except one. My main panel (which I have moved to the left side of the screen, ala Unity ) is now perfectly transparent. Some may prefer this, but I would like a bit of hazy translucency the way the panel used to be.

I can't find any configuration option to change the transparency of the panel. I'm assuming its there somewhere. Does anyone know how to get to it?

The panel translucency depends on the desktop theme you have chosen. You can change the theme of the panel alone in System Settings -> Workspace Appearance -> Desktop Theme -> Details.

Ah, thanks Nolix! As usual, I'd neglected the details!

All is well now.
