I was trying to dual boot Ubuntu 13.4(x64 bit) with win 8(x64 bit) on my lap top(it has preistalled with win 8)...
I have disabled the secure boot from win 8 so i can install the Ubuntu 13.4 but when I choose the option install or try i get a purple flashing screen.

Why i have this problem and how i can fix it?

Thank You Very Much!!!

What happens if you wait for a while, like 10mins after the "purple flashing screen"?

What graphics do you have on your laptop?

If you will post the laptop model and its detailed specs that should give some pointers. Perhaps you should try again, try F6 key as it boots to see if anything changes.
Since it works with VGA screen, its weird; the installation is perhaps not communicating with your laptop screen. Try ubuntu 12.04 and see what happens.
