Hey members of the ubuntu forums. Today I am wondering how to get different wallpapers for each side of the 3d cube. I have tried with different applications but I don't find them helpful. I would appreciate if any of you guys could reply quickly with how I can do this.
Thanks

Hi OmmoJommo,
you basically use compiz to allow you to install different wallpapers for the different workspaces. Each face of the cube shows a different workspace.
PLEASE NOTE! you will not be able to see folders etc that you drop to the desktop as the wallpapers will hide the desktop (you actually need to disable showing desktop).
You should be able to configure it with the help of this video (I couldn't find the NixiePixel one that I used a few years back)

I hope it's a positive journey. I have completely stopped using MSWindows. I do still have it installed on several pc's but never feel the need to go there. I did recently log into Win7 to use an old printer and it was all very unsatisfactory (particularly when the ink couldn't be recognised in Win7 either)..

I know I have windows as my main OS but I use Ubuntu about 90% of the time. It's alot better.
