I am trying to install Ubuntu 13.04 on a Award Bios (v1.0A) desktop with 512 mb ram.
I am trying to boot off the DVD Drive...
I get the message
"Boot from ATAPI CD Rom :
No Emulation"
The the screen shows Ubuntu 13.04 a few times (and blanks out in between)
and then continues to flicker with the purple color and blank screen alternately..
If I try to move the mouse, its shows the mouse displaced every time the mouse cursor appears.
Nothing happens if I press a key on the keyboard..
Does not progress beyond this.
Any suggestions welcome.
Note : A couple of times it let me select the language and asked me if I wanted to install or just run..etc, but those options do not appear after a couple of times trying to reboot.
