After a recent incident where I deleted old kernels before checking the new one worked I found myself with an un-bootable system. Managed to get that sorted using chroot, I digress. Decided it was well over time to create a usb boot up stick in case of emergencies. The original 12.04 live CD doesn't work on my system, I originally installed using the Alternate, I believe that there were graphic card issues when 12.04 was first released so to create usb stick I downloaded Desktop 12.04.2 hoping that would work but unfortunately after booting to the stick I get a DRM GPU error and the screen goes haywire. Is there anyway that I can install the updated graphic drivers files to the stick so that it will function on boot up? Would be really handy to have a Live CD stick on standby.

Thanks
