I just updated my Ubuntu to 13.04 and the file manager is really bothering me!
File manager in 12.04 was really good, i think!
How can I get that file manager back?

You could install nemo from mint, this versions of nautilus 3.4 -

or build 3.4 yourself

I'm interested in this as well. Could you explain the 'build 3.4 yourself' ? Or perhaps intalling the latest nautilus instead of the one used in 13.04.

Perhaps compile it from sources (http://www.howtogeek.com/105413/how-to-compile-and-install-from-source-on-ubuntu/) or by apt-build tools.

Thank you mc4man, that was exactly what I wanted.
