I've installed gnome-fallback.
I'd like to add a panel to hold icons to a few selected apps - as I had in Lucid. How do I do this?
Apologies if this has already been covered in the forum but if so I can't find it.
(I'd rather not just put them on the desktop)

OK I've now found how to add a second panel, thanks to a link in this post by ijbsb4..

The specific link is..

The key is to do [Alt}+rightclick with the cursor in the existing panel to get a menu including 'add panel'

Hello,
to add a panel to hold icons
To move/add/edit panels or applets press Alt+Right Click. If Alt+Right Click does not work, you need Super+Alt+Right Click.
