View Full Version : What would make this picture appropriate for an Ubuntu release?

So, I worked on this a couple of weeks ago. I love it but am wondering what would make it Ubuntu ready/Desktop friendly to submit to the Ubuntu art/desktop images group.

I'm not an artist (and I think it's very good!), but:
You might want to tone down the colours a bit. Purple, purple, green made my eyes hurt a bit when I set it as my wallpaper.
More stars, maybe? I don't know, personal preference.
Might want to reconsider the naming ('fetish1.jpg' ?!)

Well, consider that most of the included wallpapers are wonderful photos or paintings that include the corresponding animal.
Keep that in mind.

So maybe a salamander peeking around from behind the tree?
Personally I love the colors, but then, color is a very subjective thing.
