Ubuntu 13.04 support for 2560x1440 resolution

Hi,

i have old Dell Pc with Radeon Hd 4850 graphics card that has 2 dual DVI connectors. The card has 512mb graphics memory.

Currently running 1920x1080 monitor, looking to upgrade to 2560x1440 Samsung monitor.

Question is will Ubuntu 13.04 support the Samsung native resolution of 2560x1440 on above graphics card?

want to check before I buy the new Samsung monitor
