(no changes and difficult procedure to install linux into your pda)

There is :
GPE - Based on GTK+/X11
OPIE/Qtopia

and the Zaurus sharp PDA, that were the first to implemetn LINUX OS (and selling it )

I just got my Zaurus C3200 today. Slapped OpenZaurus with GPE on it. So far it's the nuts. Just a linux-machine for your pocket.

It is an investment though. Still trying to get the networking over usb with my ubunutu-notebook to work so i can already download packages until my cf wlan card arrives.

They are nice machines.
