This question relates to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with the Gnome classic desktop.

Someone Suggested I install Shike-Colours to give me some more choice in customising the menus/title bars etc. Sure it changes the colour/theme in the pull down title but I don't seen any way of actually adjusting it to my preference. Is there actually any way in Gnome now of actually setting the colours in the windows and desktop any more?

Thanks

The Gnome 2 type appearance application was removed by Gnome. The Gnome color chooser is available, but can't help with using it in Gnome 3.
I found that this application works with some themes well ,but not all .

OK thanks Frogs Hair. I'll play around with that.
It maybe I'll switch to a different DE.
