Getting Junk display while installing Ubuntu 12.04 64/32 bit edition but we can do the installation by following onscreen instructions, but after installation once logged in system hangs with junk display. It happens only with core I3 3220 CPU,we can install without issues with Any 2nd generation CPU.
Mainboard used is ECS H61H2-M2 ver 2.0(suuports Ivy bridge CPU)
Thanks, LK

You are using a relatively new model of processor, so you may be having Linux kernel compatibility issues. The Intel Core i3 3220 CPU has caused screen display problems with Ubuntu running on other models of motherboards besides yours. It would be interesting to see if installing Ubuntu 13.04 instead of 12.04 solves your problem (because of the newer version of the kernel in 13.04).

I hope this helps.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

We observed that it is compatibility issue to TFT monitor, when we connected with other model it was working fine.
Can you suggest any option/procedure to install on other TFT.
