Earlier in Ubuntu 12.10, whenever I used to shutdown or Restart my Ubuntu I always used to receive a warning if my virtualbox is open and it used to ask to "send the shutdown signal" but now since the new buttons of restart and shutdown in 13.04 , ubuntu restarts skipping check of virtualbox activity.
