Do you experience internet speed issues after upgrading to 13.04

Hi guys, I upgraded to new version of ubuntu and I think i have some problems with internet speed. For some reason, my web pages load slowly depending on how much stuff is on the web page. Furthermore, it's odd because I can reach top download speed on transmission. PS. Did anyone manage to get updates after upgrade? coz I only received one update file and that has been the only one since the release of new version. Bizarre, 13.04 seems to be perfectly without any bugs and problems so far :P.

Check your DNS setting. Maybe it changed and you are now using some slow as hell DNS server? Or maybe your first DNS server is not working, only the second one - and every query to DNS goes through wait time on the first server.
