I am getting something similar. After sudo apt-get update I get a list similar to the one above. Then the following error message -

E: GPG error: http://linux.avasys.jp lsb3.2 Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2

Also when I use Software Updater I get the following window - Failed to Download Repository Information - Check your Internet Connection My connection is very good.

I have several problems since upgrading to 13.03 three days ago and I am concerned I am missing on updates to fix them.

Next time there is an upgrade I will wait 2 or 3 weeks before upgrading - let the system settle down a bit.

Wait two or three months. Your issue is not related to the op's so I advise you post a new thread rather than hijacking this one. A descriptive title and be specific; it will improve your chances of help. ;)

Looks like you have a third party repository that is acting up.

@ben87naruto: You have the CD ticked as a software source, otherwise all is good. I use Xubuntu but ... open update manager and click 'Settings' in the left bottom corner or open 'Software Sources'. On one of the tabs (in Win at moment so can't check) you will find the CD ROM ticked as a software source. Untick it and update again.

Well, there appears to be something amiss with the Medibuntu repo you have. Disable that in Software Sources and try again.

Incidentally, always run:

sudo apt-get update

... before:

sudo apt-get upgrade
