bleachbit as root in 13.04

I get a terminal when I try to run Bleachbit (as root).(I installed it through the software center) It asks me for my sudo password but I am unable to make entries. Bleachbit works.
I removed it and reinstalled it through a terminal and got the same result. Worked fine in 12.04
Ideas?
