Gents,
I am not new to lubuntu nor UEFI, etc.
I was very excited to see that lubuntu 13.04 was released.
So I dl'ed it, installed it via unetbootin to my usb stick as I have done a hundred times.
Here is my issue (assuming the UEFI issue was addressed in 13.04). Oh and by the way, the usb stick works perfection on all my older non UEFI boxes. The defualt blue install screen comes up every time.
If I try to install in UEFI mode, the laptop boots right to windows 8 even if I choose F12 and select usb (USB is the first in the boot order regardless)
If I turn off UEFI mode and boot via CSM mode (how I installed all prior versions of lubuntu without issue), i get a partition error and grub rescue prompt.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
