View Full Version : [ubuntu] Problem upgrading going from 12.10 to 13.04.

This morning I thought I would upgrade to 13.04. I am using 12.10 and normally do a fresh install but I thought I would just do a upgrade. All installed software is up to date, and when I start the update I get this message.
At this point I did a restart and ran upgrade again and got the same message.
I have done upgrades before and never got this message. Does anyone know what this is all about?
When I started the upgrade I had to login, so I should be doing it as SUDO.

OK, it's been 23 hours since I posted this. Can anyone help.

I have the same problem, but my errors are that I should check my Internet connection. It's been working with a new DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem for a week, so I do not think the Internet is the problem.

Seeing there is no answer for this problem; at least it seems to be no answer so if I want to go to start using 13.04 I will need to do a clean install. I already downloaded it and created a USB. I booted into the live OS off the USB and it seem to work OK except the wireless but I know how to fix that. I will have to wait until I can set some time aside to do this. Meanwhile if someone has any suggestions on what to try to get it to just do an upgrade, let me know.
