Install Raring Ringtail's version of unity in Precise Pangolin

I want to test out the newer, faster version of unity as found in 13.04 in Precise Pangolin. Is this possible?

I doubt this very much. The underlying Ubuntu code base has changed very much in the last year. Raring Ringtail now has Unity 7 series and I do not see a ppa for it in Lauchpad. You would only be able to get it my means of a PPA.

Thanks for the reply. I'm on unity 6.2 . I'll wait till a PPA pops up
