New Ubuntu user here who did something silly a month ago and am now paying for it. I upgraded to the beta version about a month ago
and it has been running great. However when I try to update it says I have a broken package. when I use the synaptic package manager I get the following error.
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libgexiv2-2_0.6.1-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/libgexiv2.so.2.0.0', which is also in package libgexiv2-1 0.6.1-0quantal1
No apport report written because MaxReports is reached already
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/libgexiv2-2_0.6.1-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I have no clue how to fix this, could anyone be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

Thanks
