Just found this out from the "I ******* love science" Facebook page. (please don't censor the f*, it's the name of the page).
Bit late for tuxedos if you're at home, but... ;)
Today is World Penguin Day! Most of these flightless birds live in the Southern Hemisphere. The famed tuxedo-like coloring is a form of camouflage while they swim: from above, the black blends in with dark ocean water, and from below, it appears as if the sun is reflecting off the surface of the water.
