Hi,
I've just made a software that allows users with hybrid graphics to turn off discrete gpu via graphic interface.
It uses acpi_call, and gives notebooks long battery duration (up to 4 hours) and low temperature (20-30°).
theoretically, it will be simple for users that just want to have the same battery duration that they have in windows.
