Looks like a great machine but kinda pricey. I think I could get better value from System76 (https://www.system76.com/laptops/) or Apple (http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook_air) (don't flame me! :D ).

Not really that pricey. It's a good machine.

However, I think it has an AMD graphics chip and to pay that money and still have to muck about with closed source drivers: no, thank you.

Looks like it is using Intel HD 4000 graphics.
