Is there a list of USB 2.0 Bluetooth adapters that work in Ubuntu? I'm hoping to find one of the very small ones, like this for example: http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Bluetooth-Adapter-Laptops-K33956AM/dp/B00B2HVAT0/ref=sr_1_18?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1365991894&sr=1-18&keywords=bluetooth+USB

I just can't find actual evidence of which ones work in ubuntu. Is there a list somewhere?

I have one which I purchased from a store I'll identify as "DSE" (the forum's word censor doesn't like the retail chain's name or website address): works well. I'm not sure if they still stock the particular device.

You can do better than the one you linked. $15 at most online retailers will get you a very compact USB BT adapter, and almost all of them work just fine in linux these days.

I'm currently using the ASUS USB-BT211 http://usa.asus.com/Networks/Accessories/USBBT211_Mini_Bluetooth_Dongle/

It was plug and play on 12.04 (aside from installing bluetooth audio support, took a few to track that little nugget down). The only issues I've run into with it is you need to get the generic Atheros 3011 drivers for it if you're going to use it in Windows, and I broke the black plastic casing (which could have been from my carelessness). So aside from some stratigic clear take it works like a champ.
