Hello there
I've recently installed Xubuntu 12.10 on my Laptop (Modell: Acer Aspire TimelineX 3820TG-484G75nks) and am frequently encountering black screens after logging in to my account. Usually a single retry works (force shutdown and login), but occasionally not even 10 times in a row gets me logged in, which is quite annoying you might imagine. The guest account seems to work properly as far as I can tell (havn't used it a lot).
First I thought it would have had something to do with using an external monitor. However, I encountered the issue after not having used one as well.
Unlike the issue described here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1676656), I'm not getting the background and am unable to use ALT+F2.
Help would be much appreciated! Thanks
