The shortcut ctrl+clt+l to the lockscreen is Disabled and I write this in Italic on purpose.

When I go to System Settings > Keyboard > System I can see the shortcut being there and it says Disabled. And when I click the shurtcut, hover it, or whatever, I cannot change it. It almost seems te be blocked, or something.

Help? What can I do?

which ubuntu release are you using and wich desktop?

Using 12.04 and gnome classic desktop, I can change or edit any shortcut following the instructions given:

"To edit a shortcut, click in the file and press new shortcut or press backspace to delete it"

Sorry about that. I am using Ubuntu 12.10 and Gnome 3.6.0.

I know about the instructions, but that doesn't work with this shortcut. Changing other shortcuts works, so I know how to change it, but the one for locking the screen it just doesn't work.
