I want to create a live distro with only the needed applications installed but with gnome fallback and if possible the old Gnome ie, Gnome v2+.
The application I mostly need are
1. Google Chorme
2. VLC and other audio codecs
3. Evince
4. leafpad, gedit
5. LibreOffice
6. Qtransmission
7. SpeedCrunch
8. Irssi
9. Finch
10. ttytter
11. adobe Flash player

also to do some programming python 3

I know doing all this on an ubuntu Installed version is easy but making a live CD is quite tough.
Need guided instruction as I am a newbie to such work.

Look at Remastersys (http://www.remastersys.com/). Its an easy way to make an image of your current setup. Hope that helps!
