I can't use Amarok. First of all, it crashes regularly (once a couple days) and is very laggy and uses alot of resourches (I have 1 GB ram, should be sufficient)

Also- It's not layed out as I like it. It's very complex (I'm used to the simplicity and useability of Itunes.[I can't figure out how to make a playlist ](*,) )

I've got a few players already, but they have zero features.

Suggestions?

try exaile: www.exaile.org (http://www.exaile.org)
or rhythmbox: sudo apt-get install rhythmbox

Try listen yet? Its my current favorite. You really have to just try a few out and decide yourself. I stick with what I like at the time, if one application development goes stagnant then I just move to the next application I like

Thier are several threads already with people recomendations like these

JuK is nice and light.

Are you in KDE or Gnome?

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

I'd like to try exaile, but I don't have the ambition to go through the command line to install something tonight.

I forgot to say- I'm using Rythembox right now. I like it because it's stable, doesn't use much resources, and is easy to use(Amarok should take note:rolleyes: ). However, it doesn't have all the features I'd like. But I don't want to complain more than I already have. So for now; I'll be using that.

I'll also look into listen..

EDIT: Oh, and I'm using gnome

There's a Debian package of Exaile available on the website. If you're running Dapper, you don't need to use the command-line to install it.

You could also try Songbird for Windows on WINE, it works a little better than the native Linux version at the moment.

I really like "listen" it does everything amorak does but it's less annoying.
