installing ubuntu mini detect network hardware problem

iv decided to install ubuntu mini donwload the iso put it on a disk it boots normal but when i get to the step detect network hardware it first load and when its dune it shows nothing only a command line of some sort but it does nothing cant ping only when i type ^c it goos back tot the main menu
i have no idea what i can do about this

i have wireless and wired available i prefer wired but wireless is fine

i let it running the whole night and now it solved it self
