When i boot the computer it gets as far as the desktop, then after about 10 seconds the screen freezes. I can only run the computer using rescatux, a live cd is no use: i just get tthrown back to a INITRAMFS screen.
I have attached a bootinfoscript file. Hopefully this will help.

Will it boot to a text console and stay running?

What do you have for a video chip?

When I boot into the desktop everthing freezes after a short period of time even if i quickly open a txt console. However if I use the live cd @try@ option it doesn't get as far as the desktop but throws me into a INITRAMFS prompt screen. So thats the only txt console if thats what you mean.

FOr some reason rescatux boots ok.

I have noticed aswell, that the last module to start loading is the usb keyboard, then it dumps computer into initramfs prompt. NOt sure if thats relevant. I did try swapping around the usb connections but no joy.
