I'm using Lubuntu 12.10 with LXDE in a (part-time) dual-monitor setup. I have two monitors whereas one is in pivot (rotated) mode. I would like to use subpixel font rendering. Unfortunately using lxappearence it seems that it is only possible to set a single geometry (RGB, BGR, VRGB, ...) for the whole system. That leaves me with ugly colored font edges on one monitor.

Is there a way to set it differently for the two monitors or is using whole-pixel anti-aliasing the best I can get?
