Wired Network

Hi,

Just finished installing 12.10 and have noticed something odd. Every so often a message appears, "Wired Network Disconnected". The odd thing about it is that the network is behaving normally. I can browse the net and check emails as usual. I just keep getting that message poping up. Have I done something wrong or is there a potential "glitch"?

Problem solved!

It happened to be an ethernet card that I had installed may moons ago. 12.10 appears to have found it and reporting that it may not be in use. Removed the card and all is well.

I do not know how to close this thread.
