View Full Version : [ubuntu] No grub menu

When i try to install ubuntu12.10 with usb drive there is no grub2 menu instead it shows a black screen which says

"BusyBox v1.10.5 (Ubuntu 1:1.10.5-1ubuntu4.1) built-in shell (ash)

:confused: How do i install it?

You may be having Video issues. Do you get the two little icons at bottom of screen, keyboard & person as accessibility icons? Press any key, f6 and add nomodeset.

Is this a BIOS system or UEFI?
