View Full Version : [ubuntu] 12.04 server, apt-get upgrade of lvm2 taking long time

I did an apt-get update / upgrade and it is hanging at the lvm2 setup. When I say long time, it has been running for 3 days now. I'm not sure if it is frozen or still working (I can do other things on the server just fine). Last week I cancelled the job and did a dpkg --configure -a to restart and decided to just leave it til it's done (my lvm is comprised of 2 2TB drives making for 4TB total and thought maybe it would just take a while...but this is excessive). What should I do? I'm afraid of corrupting something. Any help is appreciated.
