Dear All,
My first experience with Lunbutu. I managed to install Twinkle on SolusOS (Debian) but I am struggling.

I followed the instructions from: http://mfnboer.home.xs4all.nl/twinkle/index.html

But when followed step 4 the result is: "*** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop."

4. Compile the source code
make
5. Install the binaries (must be done with root user permission)
make install
After you installed Twinkle, you can start it with the following command:
twinkle

Can you help? Thank you.

This is the first Linux forum where help has not been offered...
I thought Ubuntu was the best for none-techies...

You might want to try installing the deb package using apt or synaptic rather than compiling from source. That way all the dependencies will be included. See http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/twinkle The download list is at bottom of page, and you get an instructions page when you click on the package for your setup.

You could also try sflphone as an alternative to twinkle.
