View Full Version : [ubuntu] Problem while installing GNOME 3 on Ubuntu 12.10?

hi friend i'm using windows and ubuntu on my lenovo G580 Laptop which has 4GB RAM and i5 3rd generation processor.Now the problem is i tried to to install GNOME 3 on my laptop.after installed using some gooled site instructions,i got an notification that `my disk space is full so clean space`so i've cleaned TRASH and also update all packages using `sudo apt-get update`.After done these things i've restart my system.

hm, you does not tell us how you have installed it :(

and instead of following some untrusted urls found on the net, please use the ubuntu way (found inside ubuntu trusted howto/kiwi/community)
https://launchpad.net/~gnome3-team/+archive/gnome3

to make some more room :
sudo apt-get autoremove

actually i've followed this way http://spacemonkeypdx.blogspot.in/2012/11/how-to-install-gnome-3-on-ubuntu-1210.html.so what 'm suppose to do now?,is my os crashed?
