...is hideous. Is there ever a plan to have a more xfce-style replacement? Sure, there are alternatives, but gnome-screensaver gives you no config options unless you install a ton of gnome packages and at that point, why bother. Also, there's slock , but it is very minimal (just a black screen with no prompt). Too minimal for my taste. There are some other alternatives as well, but they all seem very tacked on. Could the xfce/xubuntu display manager handle it?
