Hello,
I'm trying to bring up my desktop on what shows up in the display settings as Toshiba America Info System 95". The model is called a Toshiba TheatreWide HD, it's 34'. I plug it in through an HDMI cable (the display shows up perfectly when running Windows so I know it's not the cable). The display on the TV comes up in this awful inverse-ish contrasted nauseating color profile, and all the edges are cut off as if it was zoomed in on the middle. Also it is not an exact recreation of my desktop but that thing where you can drag stuff over to it, not sure what the technical term is (I know how to change it, this is just fyi).
I know more information is needed about my system before anyone can help me, but I'm not exactly sure what is needed or where to find it, so please let me know! I also read through some other threads with people having similar issues but was having trouble following them. I'm running 12.04.
