Should I secure erease my SSD with lucid on it before installing raring next month? or do i just delete the partation and start installing like i would if it were a HDD
I do have trim working on lucid for the record (maverick backport kernel)
this is my ssd (overpriced as of posting this):

Hi pqwoerituytrueiwoq.

It wouldn't hurt, but AFAIK, it was only necessary, or recommended for the first ones. This was the case because when they were a new technology, they had problems like firmware bugs, lack of good drivers for some OS's (XP, and early VISTA), and lack of TRIM support.

Just my thoughts.
