I spent the previous 4-day holiday weekend trying to install Ubuntu on my system. Finally, on Monday, it installed, and I even booted into it. Since I had other committments that required Windows, I removed the drive I installed it on, and re-inserted my Windows drive, planning on getting back to Ubuntu just this last weekend.
Well, when I went to boot the linux drive on Saturday, it was giving me the same crap I dealt with when trying to install it. I gotta tell ya - I'm sick and tired of trying to be a trooper and trying to get this stuff installed. I don't feel like changing motherboards (cost and LOADS of time involved because I would also have to reinstall Windows, and I'm simply not in the mood), so I quit.
